Happy Mother's Day!

Every year for Mother's Day I am always busy making floral arrangements for my mom and friends and family. This year I had quite a few orders so I was busy running around all morning getting all the orders done and delivering them on time. I had 4 arrangements and 7 wrap bouquets to do in 2 hours. I think it was definitely a record for me! :)

Lucky Bee Paperie Collection

One of my favorite things to do aside from planning weddings and events is to make custom handmade stationery. I recently did some birth announcements for my friend Debbie's son Joshua. Check out his adorable picture on the front of the birth announcement. I also finished making my nephew Ethan's 4th birthday party invitations the other day. One of his favorite movies of all time is Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas". His older sister did a super cute drawing of some of the characters from the movie and their mom asked that I incorporate that drawing to the invitation design. Of course the color scheme had to be Halloween-like. Enjoy!

Nguyet & Danny's Wedding

My friend Nguyet got married last November but I never got a chance to blog about it. Nguyet will be helping me coordinate a wedding in a couple of weeks so this is a perfect time to blog about some of her work. Nguyet and I go way way back...back to 6th grade that is! Gosh, we've known each other for 2 decades now! I am totally dating myself now. :) Nguyet and I both took floral design classes together more than 10 years ago! We both have a passion for floral design ever since. Naturally she had to do all the flowers for her own wedding. Nguyet and Danny had a small intimate wedding with close friends and family at Danny's parents' home. Check out some of her work.

I had a great time planning my friend's daughter princess theme birthday party a couple weeks ago. The pink and white flowers with a touch of feathers decor made this 1st birthday party a magical event for princess Jaden. :)

Audrey's 1st Birthday

It was so fun helping my friend plan her daughter's 1st birthday. Since they have a huge backyard it was the perfect setting for a county fair theme birthday party! My friend Helena is a super mom! She did all the signage for all the games! Check out the pictures and you will know what I mean. :) All the family and helpers wore t-shirts with Audrey's face on it too! We really went all out for Audrey's birthday!

Anna's Baby Shower

I had an awesome time planning my best friend's baby shower a couple weeks ago. She is due any day now! Anna & Henry are both die hard fans of football so naturally we had to have the baby shower in a sport theme! I am so excited for them and I can't wait to see the little guy! He is gonna be the cutest baby ever! I can't wait to hold you baby Luke! Congrats to the parents-to-be Anna and Henry! I love you guys!

Quynh's Baby Shower & Tom's Police Academy Graduation Party

The month of March was a busy one for me. Not only did I have a big wedding coming up I was also helping my friend Connie with her husband's police academy graduation party at the Atrium Hotel for all the recruits and their families. On top of that she had a baby shower to plan for their baby #2! Oh and did I mention she planned a surprise graduation dinner for 100 guests at a restaurant?! Connie is one of the sweetest people I know and she is quite the busy bee just like me! She was cutting it real close though because only 5 days after her husband's surprise dinner party she gave birth to a healthy and happy baby girl. Congratulation Connie and Tom!
